As an athletic trainer by trade, Jeff has a long tenure of building successful teams and lifelong relationships in Professional and Collegiate athletics. Throughout his career he has developed, implemented and managed health and safety operations and policies.
In professional athletics, Jeff utilized his talents on the league level as Vice President of Player Health and Safety with the XFL overseeing every aspect of player health and safety. As Head Athletic Trainer and Vice President of Football Operations with the San Francisco 49ers he earned the trust and respect of ownership, players, coaches and staff. He expanded medical care integrating nutrition, performance and mental health programs to improve performance on the field, bringing the 49ers to the Super Bowl. Additionally, Jeff was a leader in the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society and served on numerous committees at the league level.
In collegiate athletics, Jeff started as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and was promoted to oversee all intercollegiate athletics as Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine at Kansas State University. During his tenure at Kansas State University, he worked with multiple Big 12 Championship teams and the legendary Bill Snyder. He also had the opportunity to teach courses in athletic training.
Jeff has also spent time as Vice President of Operations with WellStrong and Manager of Athletic Teams with Breg. He utilized his experience in athletics to establish relationships in the development and management of ancillary services driving value for physician groups.
Family is a priority for Jeff who has been married to his wife Rebecca for 24 years. They have three children, Madelyn, Alexandra and JC. He is a golfer and enjoys game nights on Kiawah Island with friends and family.
